At least 24 people killed by the eruption of Mount Merapi is found in Hamlet Kinahrejo, Umbulharjo Village, District Cangkringan, Sleman regency, Yogyakarta.
"At least there are 24 deaths already found in Kinahrejo. A total of 12 victims were found on Tuesday (26/10) evening and Wednesday morning found another 12 people," said resident Kinahrejo, Umbulharjo Sutrisno Wednesday.
Umbulharjo Sutrisno said two people until now still not recovered and is still in the search.
"There are probably two people who have not found it also killed a result of pyroclastic eruption of Mount Merapi," he said.
He said, since Tuesday night he was petrified evacuation of 12 people killed and this morning found 12 more.
"Victims were found inside the house and partly in the street," he said.
Almost all the houses of residents in Kinahrejo crushed hot clouds swept Mount Merapi which is estimated to reach 600 degrees Celsius with a speed of 300 kilometers per hour.
"The condition of the bodies and there are pathetic victims who suffered severe burns," he said.
He said that after the evacuation, rescue teams found the dead enter into body bags.
"There is one body bags because of the condition of two corpses in a position to cuddle, the victims were then taken to the HOSPITAL DR Yogyakarta," he said.
Head of Sleman District Health Office Mafilinda Nuraini said, the death toll is 19 people, one in the RS Panti Nugroho and 18 others in Sardjito DR.
"Meanwhile, injured as many as 16 people who were treated at a referral hospital disaster victims," he said.
