US President Barack Obama is due to arrive in Jakarta at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, East Jakarta, at 4.45 p.m. today and will stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Central Jakarta.

According to Jakarta Police Traffic Management Center (TMC), the schedule for Obama’s entourage is as follows:

Tuesday, Nov. 9.

4.35 p.m. travel from Halim airport to State Palace

5.35 p.m. travel from State Palace to Shangri-La Hotel

8.20 p.m. return to State Palace

9.50 p.m. back to the hotel

Wednesday, Nov. 10.

8.30 a.m. leave hotel for Istiqlal Mosqute in Central Jakarta

11.10 a.m. Head to University of Indonesia in Depok

12.35 p.m. leave university and visit Kalibata Heroes Cemetery in South Jakarta.

After the above visits above, Obama is scheduled to leave again from Halim Perdanakusumah Airport and head to South Korea.

Police suggest drivers seek alternative routes as the road security operation for Obama will block some roads, however, the TMC has not elaborated on the route the Obama motorcade will take.
