US President Barack Obama is expected to arrive at Halim Perdanakusma Airport in Jakarta at 4.25 p.m. on Tuesday, to begin his two-day state visit to Indonesia.

The Indonesian Presidential Office said President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would host a welcoming ceremony at 5 p.m. at the State Palace.

Yudhoyono and Obama are also scheduled to hold bilateral talks at the State Palace at 5.25 p.m.

A joint press conference will follow at 6.45 p.m., and from there Obama is scheduled to attend a state dinner hosted by Yudhoyono at 8.35 p.m.
