A tectonic earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Indonesia's North Sulawesi province at 6:53 on Wednesday morning, Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) spokesman Mujianto said.
Mujianto said the quake occurred 115 kilometers southeast of Bitung but its tremor were also felt by the people in Manado and Minahasa.
There are no immediate report of casualty and damage following the quake.
Previously on Tuesday morning, a tectonic earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale was also reported to have rocked Bengkulu.
Local Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said the epicenter of the quake was located between 4.75 degrees southern latitude and 101.10 degrees eastern longitude at a depth of 35 kilometers and 167 kilometers northwest of Bengkulu city.
